![]() ![]() Also I very much prefer playing Peter over Miles. The fact that Miles can beat her easily in game-play but in cut-scenes she can easily crush Miles who beat Rhino. Miles could have stopped it earlier as she was his " friend " but he didn't act and he put his emotions before the safety of people which is not something Spider-Man do. The story introduces probably the most annoying female character in a video game ever (Phin) that is a self center, selfish, a.hole and I literally felt nothing but happiness when she died in the end. Side missions were also bad besides a cat mission where you rescue the cat and you get the best suit. Negative parts are few but it's the most important part in a game which is the main story. Main story is short but with all the side missions and with all the collectibles /achievements, the price with a discount is OK. Web swinging was perfect in Spider-Man Remastered too. The graphics, atmosphere, musics, combat, game-play and web swinging are great. I'd recommend Miles Morales if you've played Spider-Man Remastered and crave more, or if you're looking for a smaller and less bloated Spider-Venture. Booting the game back up was quick enough for it not to spoil my fun, but it is still an annoying issue. I love the winter setting snowy New York is very pretty, and there are some really cool setpieces in blizzards.Ī word of warning, though: while the game looks gorgeous and generally runs well, it is also somewhat prone to crashing, at least on Windows 11. Miles Morales is a charming protagonist who brings some fun new powers to the mix, and the core Spider-Gameplay of zipping around New York is as enjoyable as ever. The more focused nature of this game means it gets to deliver a tighter overall experience, and I do think what's on offer here is quality. It's much leaner than its big sibling Spider-Man Remastered. ![]() It's essentially a standalone expansion pack to its main game.Īs such, it's important to realise that merely playing the campaign and ignoring side content will likely take you between five and eight hours. Spider-Man: Miles Morales is rather like inFamous: First Light and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. ![]()
